Some of you may or may not know that I deal with a lot of issues with my name. I have had warrants served to me at my house, detained in Houston because of my name, almost arrested when I got pulled over for speeding...all because of my name.
Before I was married, there was a company in California that filed bankruptcy and their Tax Id was the same as my social. Next thing I knew, I am getting letters from my credit card companies and, at the time, my truck loan regarding my bankruptcy. All that was an easy fix. No big deal.
After I got married, that is when all the real fun started. Apparently, Sandra is a common name with my Mexican last name. Who would've thunk it? I get a phone call and this person on the phone tells me that I have warrant out for my arrest because of fraud and taking a loan out at EZ Check. The person on the other end had all of my info...name, date of birth, social security, address. That freaked me out. Overall, I know the call is fraud but at the same time this person had all the correct info on me. So I am not sure what is going on.
Today at lunch hubby and I were talking about it and he stated I could change my name if I wanted too. (Honestly, I think he was joking and didn't think I would like the idea.) Then we started talking about different names. He brought it up that I should change it to something like Anita Boner. Get it a-nita boner. LOL. Well, it cracked us up anyway so who cares if you laughed or not. Then I thought I should get a name like Abetacdataewokaloamoaka. Let someone try to steal that b**ch. LOL.
At the end of our lunch, hubby said, "It will be ok. It is part of life so suck it up Mom."
There is my new name in real life. "Hi. My name is Suck it up Mom. How nice to meet you? Come here often?"
