The other day, Caleb was on a search for his TMNT figurine. He comes to me, "Hey Mom, where is my Leo turtle?" His new thing is calling me Mom. I asked him where was he last playing with it and he replied by saying he doesn't know. I thought for a minute and knew instantly where the turtle was. I told him and off he goes and it was there.
After that situation, I started thinking about the commercial again and realized how true that is.
Husband:
Have you seen my iTouch?
Have you seen my phone?
Do you remember how much wood was outside in the wagon?
Where's Caleb's shoes?
Caleb:
Where's my turtles?
Where's my shoes?
Where's my coat?
Where's my sword?
Where's my hat?
Where's my juice?
Where's the computer (iPad)?
Where's my phone?
As these questions are asked, I know exactly where all the items are at. How is it that 1 Mom can remember where everyone else's things are at but yet loses her own car keys? (Yes, I am speaking of myself in this matter.)
I reflect back on that commercial and realize it is my every day life. I suck it up and know I am the smart one in the bunch. LOL.
